Where is the CaM shaft Position sensor?

I have a 93 Geo metro thats not getting any spark, I was reading the post from mwebb @ http://geometroforum.com/topic/2703156/1/ and it talks about the CaM shaft Position sensor, where is this located?

Also, how does it connect to the ECU?

The CPS is in the distributor. Check the Tech Section for Wiring Diagrams.

just a quick check...open the distributor cap and check the pick-up coil...I have seen the distributor bushing wear out and, the stator hit the pick-up coil...if it did you would see a lot of copper wiring wrapped around the distributor...

:+1 on both the previous posts, its in the dist. and if the bearing goes bad the dist will eat the sensor.
