Are all MAP sensors the same? Will the one from a 97 Metro work with my 91? What if the newer one is a 4-cylinder and mine is a 3? Wondering how hard I need to look when I'm at the junkyard later. Thanks. |

All map sensors are not the same, get one for your year model and engine. |

You will need to get one from the same model as the car you will be putting it in. On a map sensor I would suggest getting it new instead of the junk yard. I bought 3 map sensors for my Geo Storm and payed the same price as a new one just to have to go buy a new one in the end because all the junkyard ones were well.. Junk. Theres no guarantee they were working before the car was taken to the yard. That's my personal preference though. |

If you get one from a yard, take your old one with you so you can match up the part #. |
