Hey all, I have a 91 4 door 3/5 that has 72000 miles on it, know for a fact that is the correct mileage, know history of the car, but anyways, on my commute to work this morning the low oil pressure light came on about 15 miles into my commute, on the way home it stayed off for about ten miles then came on, trip is 23 miles one way, but it doesnt stay on, it flickers alot then goes off and on, it will go out when i slow down but when drive 60 mph it stays on once it comes on, is it the sending unit or the pump or??? There is no noise coming form the engine, change oil every 2000 miles, check the oil and it is in the normal range. Thanks for any and all help...Bob

Fastest Hampster EVER

20 year old car in Minnesota. The mileage isn't too worryful, but after so many years maybe the oil sending unit is giving up the ghost. Go and check out the connection on the sensor and make sure it isn't corroded with road salts.
