i have a 1996 Geo metro and i can hold it in 5th gear but it starts to shake and it tries to push it out of gear. i am curious if that would be a clutch adjustment or transmission problem every other gear is ok and hope someone can help me with this thank you |

Had the same problem with my 89 ,two years ago,ended up being the shifting fork ,but believe it or not, it was not that hard to fix ,i fixed mine without removing the trans, if you look you will find my post , that shows how i fixed mine.

May also be a tired mount. Holding the trans in the wrong postion to reach 5th gear. |
