Hi everyone. Great forum! I just bought a 92 Metro. Got tired of buying premium gas for the Cadillac. The metro runs great, but is pretty ugly. Gray paint, faded hubcaps, dirty carpet, needs a good cleaning up as it was used by an automotive repair shop for deliveries. Has anyone had any experience with the carpeting that is sold on E-Bay? I have a nice pair of racing seats to put in. I will be pimping the car up a little. Looking forward to that good mileage!

Welcome to your new forum, Tom! :coffee

I don't have any bookmarks for carpet. BUT it's been done. If you have a link to the carpet you are looking to buy then perhaps someone can comment on it. I used some Simple Green/water and my Shop Vac to clean my carpet. I did buy 2 dash carpets off eBay. :-/

Click on http://www.google.com/carpet on geometroforum.com for listing of 'carpet' on the forum.

Oh, yeah, pictures? :drool

Most things on eBay seem to work, just be sure to read the description instead of using like a compatible with vehicles list. because most the time those aren't correct anyway. Be sure its a carpet designed to fit your model and not a universal type because those do work but they are more work then needed.

I use ebay all the time, all it takes is patience and time to find the right listing.
