I left you a nice response on TS.

I'm just so jealous...LOL. At least this has me motivated to work on mine in this 100* heat.

the turbo3 runs multi-port fuel injection, one injector per cylinder. i replaced the stock 210cc/min injectors with 460cc/min injectors from a mazda rotary. calculating available fuel and the support of the kkk ko4 turbo as supplied by jess at turbine tech running 21 psi boost, the theoretical output is 226 hp/ 225 ft. lbs @6500 rpm.

i'm guessing that it will tune to about 140 - 150 wheel hp/ 150 ft. lbs. with the option to also load a bin file that can de-tune to around 100 hp for economy. the stock turbo3 i have run for the last 5 season was making around 100 hp and if i was judicious with my application of boost, i was able to milk 50 mpg out of it.

since i drive the car as a commuter during the summer, i like the ability for the megasquirt to easily load different tuning files. the car engine electronics are managed by an acer a150 8.9" netbook and a couple of keystrokes can load the tuning files like having an economy and sport mode.

the netbook also runs auto-tune, gps navigation, broadcast hdtv, dvd, and holds about 50 gb of mp3 files for my stereo. i have a small flexi-stalk mounting that holds the netbook within reach. i replaced the standard magnetic hard drive with a solid state hard drive to get around shock and vibration destroying the drive.

Now that.... Is Super awsome i want one!

Man oh day, that is something else. 200 Hp and 50 MPG and then the acer net book to adjust and I just lol when change to a solid state hard drive to get away from the vibration and then the other goodies on it-- man-- what is next ?!?. sheesh. :-)

Sir, yes sir!

Being tech certified is for members who are on the forum regularly and help other members with their problems.

I'm not trying to take away from the work you've done, but "tech certified" doesn't mean you know things about Metros, it means you help out others. I'd argue a "Guru" tag would be better suited for you. You've forgotten more about this platform than most of us can remember.

IF you give it enough fuel and retard the timing enough it's possible to put that power down, but I would start worrying about the pistons and rods at that power level. Don't even get me started on the transmission...

It's almost hard to believe that 230hp can be produced from half this bottle size!
