Hey, I'm a Festiva owner from WV. I own a BP swapped Fastiva, a B8 Swapped Festiva and one Stock B3 Festiva. I'm thinking of trying to get ahold of a Geo and build it up, wondering what engine swaps and performance community there is for this car. Also is anyone is close with one for sale? I just seem to love small cars that no one ever expects to have power. So the Geo seems like the next best choice. |

Enemy - - - Geo Metros are all over the place. A lot of them are really nice. More than that are not. You have come to the right place. As a sign of your renpentance from the Evil of Festival Lust, you must donate one of them for Group Bash at the next organized social event. (Just Kidding) Welcome!

You may want the Geo Metro's evil twin... The Suzuki Swift GTi. They can be made to go fast, very fast.![]() Too bad you're not closer, I could make you a hell of a deal on mine. |

Worst I ever got was 27MPG and that was a track day. It isn't road legal here in California anymore so I don't track mileage. When it was a daily driver (very briefly, it punishes you!) I would get around 35MPG or so if I could keep my foot out of it. |

once i see how my monthly income is with new job i'm going to start looking for one of these if it fits in my budget! I love quick little cars like this and for mpg that isnt any worse then my current geo... working corks out but only getting 34-38mpg... 89 wagon. And to be married next year and no kids for a few years my lady and i would love to go on road trips and rides in one of these. |

I am piece by piece. This weekend seals getting replaced and figuring out my light issue. Then after that its onto getting the door handle's fixed and locks so i feel safe leaving something in there and having all my doors lock. Then finding 13" tires and rims along with replacing few other things that go with it. as usual SoS just another day not enough time. |

Festivas won't trade for Swifts. Suzuki Swifts are usually valued at least twice a Geo Metro (i.e. a Geo Metro may cost $1,000 but a Suzuki Swift will be at least $2,000). |

Swifts are rare... a Swift GTi is very rare. It's one of the original pocket rockets out of Japan in the late 80's. When Honda was selling a "Si" Civic with a SOHC 1.6 with 106HP, Suzuki released a "GTi" with a DOHC 1.3 with 100HP in a car that weighed less. If you find a GTi for sale you don't have to do much to make it fast. Stock equipment: DOHC 1.3 engine 5 speed with 4.10 final drive (a 3 speed auto was available for 1 year) 4 wheel disc brakes Recaro front seats small body kit fog lights And a few other things I'm forgetting. With high gas prices these cars have doubled in value. Finding one for a decent price that isn't thrashed can be challenging. |
