My name is Jeramiel and I am a proud owner of a 1995 Geo Metro/Lsi ... A little while ago I did a search for a turbo for my car and stumbled accross your forums... So I registerd and am wondering if anyone has a turbo on their Geo and has had some good results.. Also.. If someone can direct me into getting a turbo for my Geo.. Would it be worth it??

Welcome to GMF Jeramiel!! So you want to go turbo?? You and me both ...Well it depends on what you want. If you want insane speed its not worth it ... buy a fast car. These are econoboxes and are cheaply and simply built. Stress them to much and they break ... badly. If you want a nippy little car under low boost then its doable and very highly worth it. You can run 7-9 psi on your stock engine safely with a few fueling mods and normal turbo parts. You might need a few upgrades though (brake upgrade and chassis bracing) If you want super MPG (50+) then maybe boost is not for you. We can discuss your options and swap ideas if you like as we have the same goal. You can also visit www.teamswift.net they have lots of boost threads there ...

Well thats the basis of GMF I think. What you could do is search for threads that tell you how to calculate your MPG, do it, then post results. Then you can be helped from there ...

Welcome to your new forum, Jeramiel! We have a few turbo Geo owners who will also chime in, I'm sure. I stayed NA and simply added a street/race performance cam which was the biggest improvement in power.
