Wait what? lets look at this logic....average auto geo gets 40mpg. His with the winter button gets 50 because the tires dont spin. Now real life...the geo auto doesnt get shitty mpg cause of tires slipping. It gets shitty mpg because of gearing.... |

Also instead of a "KLN air filter that goes to the carb", you probably have a k&n that goes to the throttle body |

I drove over 100 mi last Tue to look at a 94 3/5 for myself or maybe another member, I was told on the phone it is a "solid car". frames were so bad it was untowable,( I showed up w/ towbar in hand). Drivers side tire/wheel was visibly leaning. well, only wasted 12 gallons on that one, he wanted 500. wont get 1/2 that after trailering it to the scraper, but would not budge on price. Grimeist engine ever seen too! |

I look at craigslist for the fun of it but the truth in my way of thinking is atleast 75 percent of what you see is (someone trying to turn a trick). So many people in that buisness, buying junkers and reselling for profit. Its not the place you are likely to find a square deal. For a square deal, go to a barber shop where the older crowd gets their haircuts. They usually tell the barber they wanna sell a car, or my wife just passed away and I need to sell her car. They are usually on the up and up. |

Yet another way the bald man gets screwed - damn anti-baldites, with special 'clubs' getting your 'haircuts and cars'. |

My Metro was listed pretty truthfully on CL. Of course the ad was only 10 or so words. I have to agree that the more “wordy” the ad, the less truthful the final product. ![]() Ditto on Scoobs. Pics, or it didn't happen. I'm declaring Shenanigans. Wait here while I get my broom.

my metro was also pretty truthfully told in the ad i answered ...and i asked all the important questions before leaving my deposit w/ the owners...we had agreed if the inspection showed something that wasnt told, then i can always return the car and get my deposit back ...but i never had to because pretty much what it needed was updating the maintenance issues it had, which wasnt bad at all...and maybe change out 2 tires but it was ok with the ones it had for the meantime since i wasnt really working much at the time...when i did get a more steady paycheck, thats when i splurged on what it needed maintenance-wise...later i added tinted windows to the mix because being at above 4,000 ft. or so above sea level the sun really beats down on ya...

I agree with Scoobs, pics or hit the road with your stories of splendor. I would like to see this mythical beast! Also, if you could get me a pic of bigfoot that'd be great

**This post has been edited** WOW Was I shocked that I pretended to be 2 different people, and I am sorry I wasted your time with such a silly thing as that. I am glad that the first moderator to see my posts saw right through that, and that most of you saw right through that as well. I am glad, though, that you will all forgive me for being a little overwhelmed with life, and will allow me to melt back into the woodwork. Oh and maybe I should see a true Suzuki Firefly because its pretty evident to me I know nothing about what is happening in the market place on these autos. From here on out, I will try to remember the Forum rules, which I just found HERE, because they were a simple and easy read. PEACE !
