Study this wonderful photo. Look at the bottom red ground wire circle and pretend its a clock. What part is between 10 and 11 o clock? Its white plastic, black, grey, and screws into the Manifold. I'll give you a hint, I think its has something to do with coolant. What does it do? What is its part number? Where can I buy one?

Mine is located on a 1993 metro 1.0L G10. I broke mine while taking apart and cleaning the EGR. I'm new at this under the hood stuff. The learning curve is steep. Now that I'm pointed in the right direction I can take it from here. Thanks for your help. Kevin in the Grand Canyon |

That was a lie. I can't find the part number, or a part anywhere. I'll keep looking, but if you know whats happening let me know. Oh the parts diagram under my hood says its a "EVAP TVV". Where can I get a replacement? |

OK I've struck out for finding the TVV (thermal vacuum valve) even though "BestValueAutoParts.com" sells them for $35, but they don't really sell them. Note the single exit port. ![]() Note Both ports on the BMSV (Bi-metalic Switch Valve) used on the 1993 Geo Prism. Here is my question; Can I substitute the BMSV for the TVV if I plug off one of the two? Kevin in the Grand Canyon |

Probably best to post in the "Wanted" section. Unless you have a Chevy/Suzuki dealer to check with as this is probably a dealer only thing. |

I'm Wondering if you ever found the part you needed? The AC Delco 214-933? I'm looking for the same thing for the same reason! |

Do you have California emissions? The '93 engine I have has a BMSV but it only has one port. |

I have one for $6 shipped. It came from a '95 & looks just like the one in the pic. Let me know if you want it. |
