My 89 LSI daily driver-- at work I have heard guys refer to it as a "tin can"
I usually refer to it as my "go-cart" or my "Chevy, the heart beat of America"

My 92 XFI I distainfully refer to as "dog breath" or "wet dog" (I do feel sorry for it) as I had been looking for an XFI for a long time and when I found it, it smelled bad from I think water inside. I am replacing the trans at this time. Took a while to find a used XFI at the pull and save but I got one.

I can't seem to find a metro that is not dented in multiple places.
Wow, never thought I would get this many replies though I'm thinking about getting one those geo forum stickers cause I have seen 5 of them up here so far in past 24 hrs. :popcorn

My first is named the Gnome. :coffee As in MetroGnome, hence my avatar. The red convertible my wife  drives is the ladybug because of its color, size, and floormat. We also have a yellow convertible but it remains unnamed. Tempted to call it the Lemon, but that might be bad luck.

I call my 1990 Metro " little max" the metro that could. after some of the rigs that I have had, it is like driving a go kart. My wife calls it my barn find. Bought it next to a barn with a half bundle of hay in the back.

The Immortal Metro is so named because it has been brought back from 'mostly dead' status so many times.

But as we all know, mostly dead is still "somewhat" alive ! - Miracle Max...

My friend's call it the "Micro Machine" and that's what it normally goes by...
Though I have one friend that normally catches a ride to work and every time he get's in he calls it the "doop Doop DOOP"
He complained about the 3 cylinders cause he can't even do a scale, hahahahah!!!!

When we were dirt track racing we were called Micro Machine Racing. Which was started by my first FREE purple 99 metro.

Now I have GIGI the green Goblin

Don't be a "Richard"

This is a pretty cool thread, so I figured I would add ours also. :rocker

My first Metro was named "Buckmag"

My buddy named it after I hit my second deer with it, Hence the Buck Magnet!! Hit 2 more deer with it before the rust took her from me. (may she rest in peace)

My wifes car didn't have a name until,(you guessed it, she hit a deer). Pretty easy after that, "Buckmag2" (another rust victim)

At this point, we just decide to keep it going, so I'm driving Buckmag3, and the wife is Buckmag4!

Now if we could just miss those damn deer, we'd be set!! LOL :cheers
