This is a pretty cool thread, so I figured I would add ours also. :rocker

My first Metro was named "Buckmag"

My buddy named it after I hit my second deer with it, Hence the Buck Magnet!! Hit 2 more deer with it before the rust took her from me. (may she rest in peace)

My wifes car didn't have a name until,(you guessed it, she hit a deer). Pretty easy after that, "Buckmag2" (another rust victim)

At this point, we just decide to keep it going, so I'm driving Buckmag3, and the wife is Buckmag4!

Now if we could just miss those damn deer, we'd be set!! LOL :cheers
Wow damn, I wonder what the insurance agency thinks after you already hit more deer than most shoot in hunting season lmao, you sure you aren't aiming for them :beer

Are you saying the cross hairs on the hood aren't supposed to be there? :D

Actually, I've never turned in a claim, the wife and I have liability on both cars, so I just come home, pull parts from the 8 extra cars I have here, and were back on the road. :P :rocker

THE HOOP NASTY!

I miss that lil guy, but oddly enough, my SUV here in Japan gets about the same gas mileage lol...

The guys at my work joked around that i must have a 2' d#ck because i drove a geo, rode a scooter, and had a gas bike lol, so i think cock block for a name is out. those were my anti-penile extension trifecta.

Rolling Thunder. Because she's mighty like that, and mostly because the exhaust is shot.

Blazing Bullet was also under consideration, as I found some bullets in her after I bought her (unfired, PO was a hunter and must have lost a few bullets in there, although in my imagination she was a hitman car).

edit: when speaking affectionately I also call her li'l rustbucket

When I bought my first Geo Metro, my 14 daughter said that they were butt ugley. So, for $35 I had a graphics place make a vinal stick-on that said "Cute-Butt Ugly" and I put it on the right rear quarter panel. So we called it Butt Ugly....Butt for short. Now I have a second 1994 Geo Metro and I named it Butt Ugly II. Again, Butt for short. Love that car.

I actually did not name my metro(s). One of the customers who frequents my gas station named it.

I have had 4 metros (2 at a time) since I began working at the store three years ago. My previous 2 metros were on their last legs when I started the job and have I since bought 2 "new" ones that hopeful have 10 years left. There have been 4 different colors (white, red, silver and green), but all of them are 1999 Geo Metro hatchbacks. This has been very helpful when needing spare parts.

I have had 7 Geo Metro hatchbacks since my first one in 1991. This is the only car I have owned since then and all the regular customers know it. I owned Opel Cadets (65+ mpg though the 1973 oil embargo) and a Toyota Starlet before Geo Metros back to 1967.

Since my car is the only car that looks the way it does; no matter which car I drive to work, every one of the daily customers knows that it is my car before they even see me. This is kind of funny because I know nothing about any other car and I work at a gas station. Customer's tell me the Chevy Tahoe or something and I have absolutely no idea which car it is because I do not pay attention to that type of information.

My cars' nickname from the older customers who remember the TV show is the "Matmobile", from the batmobile on "Batman".
