First of all, my name is Ben and im from illinois. I drive an 05 f150 that gets like 14 mpg... so I have been browsing craigslist for a fuel efficient vehicle. Last thurs I found her. A 1993 geo metro 2 door hatchback with only 3 cylinders!

This bad boy was only an hour away and it was listed for 950 bucks. So I go to look at it, its in hreat shape and hardly any rust. I check the odo and its only got 68k miles! It had been sitting for the past 10 years so the tires were dry rotted. Cost me 225 for those. Needed a new battery, that was 60 bucks. It also needed a map sensor and a door handle, got those free at a junk yard.

It is safe to say im in love with this car

Wow, you got an amazing deal. Even with the tires and the other minor issues it was having, no one up north here would let some like that go for under $2,000. It's crazy how much people ask for Metro's these days, though honestly, not all that surprising; they're well worth it.

Well, welcome aboard! I'm quite jealous of your steal. Enjoy your new ride!
