Well, I saw this after I posted on another topic-Mysterious Ground Wire. So some of this info is on the other post.
I owned a 2000 Lsi that took a tap in the back. The insurance totaled it, but it was barely damaged. I wanted an Xfi since my buddy got me into them back in the early 90's, one came up a month ago just down the road and I snatched it. It has lived it's whole life in Georgia so there is hardly any rust.It had a rebuilt head 20k ago and a new clutch 40k ago.
It was loaded down with aftermarket stereo junk including a sub woofer the size of a small refrigerator. All of that mess has been pulled out including the underbelly neon lights. I would like to get the original wheels for it and get rid of the Falken Proline's currently on it.

I'm not a mechanic, just a tinkerer, basically into restoration/originality of these cars, driving it as light as possible and sticking it to the Gas Man.

Very glad to have found this great site.
Thanks,
Steven

Thanks idmetro, I already have the "old school" Autotech amp on Ebay, the Alpine stereo is next. The sub woofer box is making a great tool table in my carport. I might shoot some skeet with the cheap speakers.

I'll see how much the stuff that was in it takes off the $1200 price, but whatever it is, it's going back into the metro.

Hot damn! looks like you got its twin Johnny Mullet and Modder Man, yes, after weeks and weeks and weeks of hourly Craigslist checking it appeared-I was the first caller. The guy said he was getting calls from all over the country, but I was lucky to be right down the road. It was a triumphant day.

Nice ride. I'd work out a wheel swap in a heartbeat if I was closer to you.

Car Nut, I would strongly consider taking a Metro road trip and do a wheel swap, even have a real close buddy up your way that I need to visit (he just had heart surgery). These are 13 inch rims with new p175/70R13's and I am just now reading other post about larger rims and fuel economy-odometer readings-this that and the other, so much info on this site my heads about to explode.

I would just like to get it back original and go from there...I'll put a trip on my maybe list.
