Wow I am surprised that no one commented on this. Sorry for the last post I was having a rather bad day and needed to vent my frustration, everyone around me is sick of hearing about Metros so I said it here because I thought you all would understand better. Scott |

Sell one. The space that T bird takes up can probably fit two metros. |

I'm pretty sure most here do understand quite well, however you summed up the frustration lots of us have felt quite well, I'm not sure what could have been added to what you said ![]() As far as this car goes, as the others have said I would pass in your situation. For the most part it is a good looker, but frame horns aren't something you'll be able to ignore for even a little while in the condition those are in. |

Thanks bogs, that makes me feel much better knowing that someone gets it. I was really speaking more of any Metro not this one necessarily but I wasn't clear on that. Coche that T-Bird has been in the family since it was new and it is still in my grandfather's name, I cannot sell it myself, plus as I said earlier, due to some complications with the will (greedy aunts) that is likely all the inheritance I will ever see from my grandparents, I never knew my other grandfather he died before I was born. I just can bring myself to sell them, I have been looking into storage options to store it if I get that desperate. As for this Metro I could fix it and I do intend on getting a welder when I get another job, but I think I will let it go. Thanks for listening, Scott P.S. If anyone wants to leave more comments on my current situation or the frustration I've been feeling please do. |

I'd definitely keep the T bird myself, both for the sentimental value and just liking that sort of car. You know all the history on it so there shouldn't be any surprises with it. I have three vehicles in my driveway myself. A F-150 with tranny problems, a 2000 Metro with starting problems, and my 1991 metro with gas problems! Now I just need to get one with a blown motor so I can have the whole set. |

Thanks Shinrin, I know how you feel there, both the T-Bird and the Caprice are out of commission right now, one with a bad motor the other with a blown steering box. I seem to have bad luck when it comes to choosing cars, I always either pick a crappy one or get screwed. But I guess I learned my lesson with the Caprice. Scott |
