i have a 94 geo 5sp 3cylinder comes up i thought code 15 now im wondeering if its really is code 51 ive changed out the coolant sensors ,flushed out the radiator. even cleaned out the egr replaced the valvs and the pvc checked the wiring harnes for a bad ground yet after i drive it for about 15min the check engen light comes back on, the only sensor that i havent changed out yet is the one for the fan. yet the temp gage does'nt seam to read hot its almost to the half way mark some times just a little below that.
should i just put black tape over the check engen light and just forget about it?

It's usually 51, EGR. You said "cleaned out the EGR", by that do you mean the EGR valve? It's usually the passages through the intake manifold that lead to and from the valve itself that are clogged. Press in on the EGR valve diaphragm with the engine at idle. The engine should stall out or come very close to it. If it doesn't then your passages aren't allowing enough flow.

If it is 15, then the problem is the sensor mounted on the throttle body, or the wiring for that sensor. The ground wires on the bottom of the intake manifold are critical for this circuit. Also, the small coolant hoses that heat up the throttle body.
