Hello all, I have a 1996 Geo metro 1.0L when I got the car it had an oil leak, person told me that it was the seals, when you look at the car the passager side of the car is caked in oil gunk, today I replaced the cam and crank seal today and the pcv. Drove it around for about 15 mins after putting back together, parked the car and bam drip of oil coming from the car from somewhere around the timing cover. I would like to get some help, maybe there is a different spot that it is leaking from.

Take the timing cover off and run the engine without it, so to see from where the oil is leaking from.

Like you have been told the oil leak could come from the oil pump/front crank seal cover, depending on the year model they are different.

Just found out that mine was leaking from the front crank seal, behind the harmonic balancer...Seal cost about 7 bucks at Auto Zone.
