Oversize Thrust Washers?

I just bought my first geo metro. I was leaking oil aroung the oil pan so i removed it to reseal. I found a bent up thrust washer in the pan. I bought a new thrust washer set and installed it but there is still a lot of play in the crank shaft. I checked serveral places but cant find oversized thrust washers. Does anyone know where I can get them? Is there something else that may be causing the looseness?

Thank you
The play is side to side. Up and down is tight and the the main bearing on the cap I took off still looked good. It has about 1/8 of an inch of play. I'm afraid the new thrust washer will fall out.

Carefully inspect the thrust surfaces on the crankshaft. If the thrust washers are damaged the crankshaft likely is also.

I was thinking the same thing. I was just hoping someone made an oversized thrust washer to buy me some time.

Got 70 MPG?

Ouch, it sounds like you have a case of crank walking going on.

You can check out partsdinosaur.com and see if they sell and oversized one, but don't get your hopes up.
