Good bye

Ask at the counter, maybe they pull them and have them on the shelf. I have only replaced one on a Metro. My Son-in-Laws 93 Nissan Sentra is another story, we have replaced 1 whole set and a couple more. My Mother-in Law's 91 Subaru with 250k also now has a low mileage used set, they started dying with the ethanol.

Only injector problem I've had in 25+ years (4 different Metros) is that the wires at the connector that plugs into the injector connection on the intake manifold are a little weak (they get bumped and banged as work is done in the engine compartment) and can break right at the connector.

Ah yes, dang ethanol. I've replaced my share of Nissan injectors, GA16de and SR20de. Would be nice to see a quality, replacement injector for the G10, and run it at 4bar (higher pressure, better atomization).

There are three injector bosses on the head but we would have to run a stand alone system to control them. I really don't care that much, it would be cool though. Hey, hunting season is coming up and the car runs fine. :beer

We've also got a bung on the back of the block on the number two cylinder that can be drilled out and tapped for a knock sensor.

I've seen the fuel injector go for $300 on eBay new. So yes, I can see people removing them and selling for $50-100 used on eBay.
