So Ive had the car about 2 almost 3 weeks. I noticed when i got it the motor shook a bit, can feel it in the shifter. and a weird ticking noise (sounds like plastic ticking) Ive done a full tune up, and changed the pcv. (just about to swap out a intake manifold that's been cleaned to get eh egr light off). I have no loss in power, and when i filled up I'm getting 44mpg. from all the posts Ive seen when it shakes like this they all had horrible power and bad mpg. but mine doesn't I'm so confused with it.

Also i don't have a lot of space, i live in an apt complex and cant work on my cars :( so if it was worst case scenario and had to rebuild it, i think 1700-2000 is probably what ill get charged? that's if they have to place a ton of stuff.

well, once again i thank you all for the inputs, and all your holy Geo knowledge :D :cheers

Throttle body has nothing to do with EGR.

Fear the Mullet

I would seriously perform a compression test to determine how healthy the engine is internally.

Seriously, make this a priority. Warm engine, pull Fuel Injector fuse, pull all spark plugs, hook up compression gauge, hold throttle wide open, crank for 10 sec. Wash, rinse and repeat for all cylinders. Report readings back here.

when the engine is shaking at idle see if there is excessive movement in the engine and / or transmission mounts.

might help you to read this all the way through:
