When I checked bottom of cylinders ...on all cylinders on 3 and 9 o' clock position cylinder walls is not smooth when I touch with finger, even visibly it looks different....that spot is like about 1.5 inches ...so total 6 such spots...

is it normal? why these rough spots are there? because piston skirts ..all geo engines have such spots??

Maybe the piston never touches that section of the cylinder and it's the original honed cylinder wall.

It's normal. Those rough spots are the honed surfaces of the cylinders. When the engine was new, the whole cylinder had that texture. Over the course of thousands of miles, those surfaces are worn smooth by the piston rings and the piston skirts from the friction.

The smooth, worn portion of the cylinder wall is called glaze. That's why a cylinder hone is sometimes referred to as a "glaze breaker".

Got 70 MPG?

The 3 and 9 o'clock positions should be where the piston never touches the bore at the bottom. 6 and 12 should be where the piston skirt goes down to.
