My check engine light came on today. My 97 1.0 5speed has been rock solid untill today. Can anyone tell me where the sensor is located, brand of sensor to buy, where from and how much? Thanks guys

Got 70 MPG?

Pop the hood, look down at the exhaust manifold, it'll be right there in front of staring you in the face.

As far as brands and prices, call around locally for pricing and what brands make sensors for our cars. I've never had to replace mine, but I would think that bosch makes one for the car.

I see they sell some that are direct plug in and others you have to splice your end on the new sensor. What would be better?
Anyone have a new one they didnt use and want to sell it?

Direct fit is best if you're leery of wiring jobs.

I've got a brand new one that is slow. Caused a Check Engine Light instead of fixing it.

Exact fit is the way to go, they're usually around $80, maybe $70 since you need the front one.
