Know that the car is running it runs pretty rough. someone told me thats normal for 3 cylinder motors. Is that true and can i get it to run smoother. |

Have you done a recent compression test? If not, do one and report your readings. If you have already done one, report your readings. These engines can idle a bit rough, but if you getting into shaky rough, you probably have a valve out. Start with the compression test. |

They will never idle smoothly unless you have your idle bumped up abnormally high. They have an odd number of cylinders and cannot be perfectly balanced like a straight six can be. |
