In the next year or so, I am going to start building an engine strictly for MPG. I'm still in the daydreaming stage. Anyway, I was wondering if you can still get XFI pistons? If so, can you get them .020 over? I was thing about having my bores cleaned up and bored .020 over and then throwing some XFI pistons in there, if they are available. Or is that kind of thing LOOONG gone? Thanks! Rob |

Better off buying completely custom pistons. Edited by Coche Blanco, Sep 18 2011, 10:20 PM.

Turbo Dan-O did just that most recently. No bueno on OS XFI pistons. He reused pistons and rings. The best that you can do for the bores is have a machine shop precision hone to max standard bore. Snowfish did this on his Lil Red with Heart project. Good luck. XFI stuff is hard to find |
