Ok so my radiator fan won't start... I've tried a few things. Tested the motor, it didnt work... so I replaced it with a new one, got it for like 40 bucks. Still didnt kick on. Checked the fuse, good. Changed out the relay, still didnt work. Maybe thought it was the connector so I cut it off and wired it straight together... Still didn't work. So I'm stumped. Any ideas? |

I think these cars may use a separate thermoswitch and relay just for the fan. Check that it's flipping on, just like the relay. |

If all the electrical is fine, it sounds like a bad coolant temp sensor to me. I think on that '95 you have two. One for the gauge and one for the computer. If you gauge is working, I bet the computer one is bad. You may not get a "Check engine" light. |

Good call, it could also be the relay sticking. |

Oh man sorry about that I don't know what came over me. I meant "You might have a manual fan, they have to be spun by hand" |

Should be on the thermostat housing.![]() The Yellow plug is the fan switch. The one next to it is for the temp gauge. At least on a 91......................

Test the fan first. Could be a bad motor. Never know. |

I already tested the fan... it was bad. Thats why I replaced it. Anyways so I unplugged the thermostat switch on the housing while the car was on and the fan started up. What do I need to replace? |

If your temp guage shows the car to get to operating tempature then chances are good you need that sensor in your thermostat housing. |
