I'm helping a friend with a bad fuel injector for his '99 Metro 1.0. What have you guys found is a good source for low cost fuel injectors? I recommended to him that a junk yard injector could be good for a while, but he wants either new or rebuilt for piece of mind. Yet, wants to keep costs down. I know fuelinjectorwhse.com will sell the injector for $69.95 plus $10 core charge. Is there any other parts source for less? |

I checked resistance with my DVM...9.5 ohms. The engine dies randomly, usually has to wait a little while to be able to restart it. I overhauled his engine, all new stuff inside, perfect timing, new ignition stuff too. I dropped in a spare fuel injector from my '92 Metro, and the car runs flawlessly. So...it's the injector. |
