I didn't. I just left both sides off. The previous owned had stuck two different side trims on it... Well, it kinda looked likt two face, but not as bad And they stuck it below the OEM location so it looked pretty stupid. I think AutoZone does sell 3M adhesive though.

Most auto places carry it, but Walmart is usually cheaper. It won't be the exact same kind of stuff but it should do the job. |

Got 70 MPG?

Got home from work today and removed the passenger side fender, removed the passenger mirror and will be putting coroplast in it's place. Also did the throttlebody bridge delete mod. I'm going to try and bend the fender back into some semblance of what it's supposed to look like, as well as try to find a close matching fingernail polish for where the paint has flaked off for now as a temporary fix. I'll also be taking it down to the Zone to have it scanned for codes. It has a high idle right now and the check engine bulb is either burnt out or MIA... |

Okay, so the fender repair is done for now. I will eventually get a replacement, but this will do for the meantime.![]() I have a couple code for the front bank o2 sensor and speed sensor as well. |

The passenger side mirror was melted and partially broken, so I went ahead and took it out and blocked it off just like on the red car.![]() I also did the radiator flush proceedure that engine doctor outlined in his thread. The only thing I recommend doing differently is holding your hand over the radiator cap so all of the water backwashes out of the overflow bottle and cleans it out as well. |

I've ran about half of the tank out of the car now and I had around 245 miles on it when it hit it. My red Geo usually has around 300-320 miles on it at half a tank, so if the gas gauge on the blue car is accurate like the red one is, then I should only be getting about 7-8 less MPG in the blue car than the red one. That would put my MPGs on the blue car in the low 60's. Not bad if this ends up being true! |

Do you Engine Off Coast? Because I read somewhere (maybe Tofu?) that the engine has a ~20 second rich phase after you turn it off with the ignition. |

Well, I saw that you were up to 4 pages, 2 excluding Coche Blanco's comments, and figured I'd see what Starscream5000 was up to. Nice find. A $600 semi-molested, half baked Geo Metro in drivable condition. Did you figure out the timing belt and distributor? |

No, I'm leaving it alone for now until the wife lets me have a good amount of play-time for the Geo. I'll be off all week in a couple of weeks, so I may confirm the timing at that time. I'm running my red car with a +10 cam gear and 1 degree advanced right now and have been for several thousand miles and no issues (it does ping under load at about 13 inches of vacuum, but I never load it up that much when driving). Two-Face isn't pinging right now unless I put A LOT of load on it, so I may just leave it like it is depending on what my mileage ends of being. |
