Looks good, with a little more work it will be a really snazzy site. Study the existing search engines to see what features people want. I assume you know about Search Tempest. Only problem for me is that they don't sort by distance, everything is grouped by local list. There's another one called Craiggers, with a Twitter style interface. They are under active development, but many of the listings are out of date. The best one ever was Craiglook, sadly shut down by Craigslist. They still display other small classified sites with the same search engine: http://www.claz.com. I'd study that one in particular and get some ideas on usability. Particularly sort by price, distance, and date posted. An RSS feed for search results would be good; thumbnails, price and description should be right in the list. Don't sort by local craigslists. Don't show me empty lists. You'll get there! We are behind you 100% - this is a useful service. Keep it up! |

In it's simplest and most sublime, try: - 2 slices nice squishy white bread - 2 slices spam about 1/4 inch thick - 1/2 inch if you like salt - 1 slice american cheese - optional lettuce or tomatoe - mustard and mayo to taste (skip mustard if you are going for a B.L.T. taste) If you have leftover spam try SPAM fried rice - diced spam - leftover white rice NOTE: It must be at least a day old to have the right texture - a small chopped onion - some chopped scallion - some THAWED mixed vegetables any type - oriental mix, carrots, peas, corn, and lima beans etc. - 1 or 2 eggs - a bit of cooking oil using a walk or a nice no-stick fry pan - Start by frying the spam in a few tablespoons of oil to desired carmelization. Throw in onions and carmelize If veggies are still frozen, microwave and toss them in. Keep things moving in the pan. Drop in the eggs and let them run a bit. Wait a minute or two to allow the egg to partially cook. Then stir to break it up into little pieces. Toss the scallion on top, stir a little more and serv immediately. If you really like salt, add a dash of soy sauce. Mmmmmmm |
