Yes, there is definitely a fuel cutoff, I think it's at 6800. That's going to have no effect on over-revving caused by downshifting into the wrong gear though.


My FSM says it is at 7000 rpm. That is for a 93 1.0L. On my tach that is at 7500 but it is not calibrated correctly. I am not even sure what MK or # of cyls the cluster came from. I know it reads high throughout the scale.
