I bought a 96 that was giving an egr code and the p.o. said he would spring for the new valve. That worked for about a day and the service engine soon light came back on. Ideas? |

It's not usually the valve itself but the passages through the head that get clogged up. There is an especially tight near 90 degree bend where the passage enters the manifold right under the fuel injector. Cleaning instructions are here: http://geometroforum.com/topic/678529/1/ Good Luck! |
