Post 'em if you got 'em. What I'm looking for is pictures you take while standing on your property. We did this last year so I figured to try it again this year. Btw, it was 60* in northwest ArkKansas yesterday.

Only snow here is on the news when they show pictures of the midwest and the Rockies... |

No Snow! No Snow! No Snow! (Too much work to do...don't want to deal with snow also!) But here's a picture from a few years ago...not of the Geo (unfortunately), but in front of the house...

Berm out front (4-5 ft tall, prolly 10-12 ft wide, and ~50ft long) has been there since November. I'll gladly ship it all down.....we got another few inches overnight. Up on the mountains there's tons more.....lots of avalanches already this year. |

We got dumped on last night, had upslope conditions where the storm runs into the mountains and stalls over the front range and just dumps snow for hours and hours. The storm started last night at about 1630 and is expected to die out about 1800 tonight. When I got up this morning it was about 10-12" deep and it will continue for about 13 more hours. I did'nt take a pic this morning but it looks just like this pic I took in Nov. ![]() I got out to shovel the driveway at 0430 this morning and pulled the metro out of the garage and got it stuck in the street at the end of the driveway (i really need to get some snow tires). I got it back into the garage and took the wifes minivan to work, left at 0500 and arrived at work at 0730. |

Grunt, you're cheating! That picture looks exactly like the one you posted from your backyard deck last year. Oh, wait. Colorado... Never mind. |

Well...about that picture. It's dark when I go to work and when I come home. ![]() Overcast days have light that is 'flat' and does not lend itself to getting a good photo. However, I'll hope for a sunny day this weekend and give it a try. I remember my first winter here....it was overcast everyday for 6 weeks. When I finally saw the sunny sun one day, it was pretty neat

F**k you....lol. I hate the midwest. We either get half ass cold weather with little to no snow or warm weather but with the beloved humidity followed by a tornado. I want several feet of snow! |

Uh, guys, this isn't going like I anticipated. Last years pics, wordy descriptions, and a pic of a tropical beach. WTF ??? I appreciate humor and your good intentions, but I still want to SEE snow. Heck, we might get a dusting tonight or tomorrow . I'll have my camera ready. Whooooo Hoooo, the sun came up this morning and I found my metro COVERD in a deep layer of the fluffy white stuff. I knew if I wished for it long enough, I would be rewarded with a great snowfall. Here's the pics. Enjoy! ![]() ![]() Have you noticed the roofs in the background loaded up with tons of snow!!!!! I hope the don't collapse under the weight. Maybe I ought to get up on my roof and remove the build up of the water laden snow. Hmmmm. Edited by dayle1960, Dec 23 2011, 09:21 AM.
