With a big snow storm brewing in the Colorado area, I figured I'd bump this thread. |

I have lived here in London, Ontario for more than 40 yrs and I have never seen a winter with less snow and warmer temps. We have absolutely no snow on the ground. I have used my snow shovel once this winter. The snowblower remains parked in my garden shed. I don't like this kind of winter. My dogs are forever tracking mud into the car or house. My back yard is like a swamp.

40 years is a long time. I guess memory really is first thing to go. The winter of 2001/2002 was warmer.

Yes, aging does terrible things to the observation powers. Waning vision or inability to maintain focus seems to have caught up with several of us.
That is two criteria. Once I rolled over the 50yr mark I started to lose focus as well. Eating lots of cheese and dairy products worked wonders. Edited by clarkdw, Feb 4 2012, 02:59 AM.

I have to agree, I can't seem to recall a winter where both happened. One or the other, but not both. |
