Got me tail lights from a suzuki swift. I thought they looked a little nicer than the stock geo metro.

Nice scope.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=Advantest+R3465+Modulation+Spectrum+Analyzer+

It analyzes modulation spectrums. It allows listening in on a broad range of frequencies and I want one!

Yep, spectrum analyzer. This one does have an audio demodulator so you can pick a peak and listen to what's going on, but the main purpose is to show you 'what's out there' in a range of frequencies.

Think of an oscilloscope but instead of the x axis being time, and the y axis being voltage, the spectrum analyzer's x axis is frequency and the y axis is intensity.

Been needing one to check transmitter outputs - power, harmonics and correct frequency (don't have a counter that goes high enough)

Looks like a tri-corder to me, and from JBD's description,it might as well be from all I understood of it. I'm glad you'll get more out of it than I did JBD :thumb I'll go back to my things I understand again :D

Please just call me; "Schultz"

I was (notice past tense) going to get the enclosure kit for my canopy. (shelter logic 10x20)
I had my, soon to be, SiL with me.
He says;
"You may want to wait till after the holiday."

I've wanted this kit, that puts sides and a back and front on the canopy, for 2 years.
I've waited and seen the price go up and down.
The last time I looked at one, it was $89.99 at Pep Boys. Low price leader by far.
I had a 20% of any on item coupon, I missed my window of opportunity. Boo effin Hoo.
Now it is on sale for $59.99. I go to get it and the boy says wait.
Wait!? What!?

I have asked the family for this for 2 birthdays, 2 Christmases, 1 Fathers day. I figured by now they did not get the hint or were not going to get it for me regardless.
We-e-e-e-ell La-Dee-effin-Dah.
Guess what was under the tree for me today.

!!!Woot!!!Woot!!!

Got 70 MPG?

Haven't bought anything for myself for Christmas, but I'll be having a belated Christmas present come March 2012 when I buy the house I'm renting right now.

Nice toy Jelly, are you a ham (AE5VU)?

I'm thinking I would really like a new lathe,
but my Christmans will have to wait until January.
