I am the one on the left.

within a two block radius of my home, there are four metros. Within a mile there are12 They are all owned by different people. Nobody owns more than one.
I think I am the only forum member in my neighborhood.
I see many on the streets of my city, and I was wondering, how many live in your neck of the woods?

In our town of 1500 population there is one family that started collecting metros years ago--6 kids with at least one each, mom with one, dad with three (daily driver, hay hauler and 'tinkerer') and about 7 sitting out "behind the barn" for parts.---then there is about 5+ others who own them---amazing for such a little town............

EDIT: I approached the old man once to see about getting a part--his answer==hell, I wouldn't give away or sell even one paint flake..........

In my immediate neighborhood just two (both at my house). In the nearby area there are many (even a forum member or two not too far away)...

Only 2 others within 30 miles in all directions of my neighborhood, I've searched! Some guy at the Vista Apartments about a mile away who has a white 89 2-door hatchback in fairly bad shape but he still drives it. There's also a mint condition 1993 four-door burgundy Metro at a very nice house owned by the sweetest little old lady. It has the original 90s pinstriping on it and all the hubcaps are there, the paint looks like new but it's original! (what a car!)

No metros in my town. Lots of Lexus, Prius and Mercedes, the occasional Porsche and various flavors of large SUVs.

Neighbors watch me in horror when I do Seafoam treatment and drive down the street! :D

Besides mine, just one other, a second gen. Seen a few around town but not many, people are holding on to them around here. Rarely see them on craigslist. Even the wrecking yards do not have many on a regular basis. And the ones that are in the yards have been there for months. People here in Cali must be on to something.

In a mile radius 4 metros and one old swift. Two of those metros are mine. One is parked under a mans carport (I have inquired about buying it but he no want to sell. I think he keeps it under the carport to make people believe someone is home while he is at work. Car never moves). The other is a driver along with the swift.

My Area Is Very Much ANTI GEO METRO!! So I Guess Mine Is The Only One In My Disposable Throwaway Area. (San Fernando Valley) This Area Is All About The Silverados, Land Rolovers, Mercedes Benzes, BMWs, Priuses, Escalades, Ricer Hondas And Subaru WRX/STis, Etc. Rich Schnooty Hateful Area.

People Consider A Geo Metro Here To Be An Abnormality. (But Then Again I Consider SFV To Be An Abnormality, Too.)

Wonder What Bogs Has To Say About That One. Hmmm.
