Well, me any my buddy (av6g6) are now in the process of building another set of projector headlights for my Metro. This time we are using the HID projectors from an Acura TSX. These are designed to be used with HIDs and will spread the light across the cutoff more evenly. They also are a bit more compact than the current BMW projectors we are using. We should be more than halfway completed with this tonight, and i'll have pics up of our progress. These should be even nicer than the previous ones we did, even as nice as those were!

Keep an eye on this, UPDATES to come!

Ok, here are the pics of where we are stopping at tonight:

Only things left to do are the following:

-Rebuild a vacuum chamber so we can vacuum form covers for the front of it.
-Make the form fitted covers
-Find additional trim rings and paint
-Test fit in car
-Paint outside of the projectors to cover the ducting tape

Thoughts?

Here are some pics of the vacuum chamber we are making to allow us to make custom fitted shrouds. Hopefully will have the majority of this done tonight!

Nope, not this one either. Still isn't a bi-xenon projector. However the retrofit for using a bi-xenon would be very very similar to this, just with a few additional wires. The ONLY reason we'd ever have to re-do this retrofit again for my particular car is if I got a hard-on all of a sudden for high-beams, which I don't see happening any time soon, lol. That's how awesome these particular projectors are.

Guess it's about high-time to update this:

The lights are complete and in the car now. We are using a 4300k Philips bulb (has shifted to 5k). MUCH MUCH MUCH better output than the BMW Projectors!

Compare for yourselves!
