They will on occasion, loosen up stuck rings or sticky lifters and help rejuvenate rubber seals that have been sat too long. But then again, so will an oil change and some exercise. Could very well be that your car was going to stop leaking and ticking anyway, you're just giving the credit to MMO.
after reviewing allmountain's and your opinions I suspect you guys
are correct. I bought from a guy who had used this Metro as a "toad",
towing it behind his motor home for the past 5 years. I imagine it had
only ran at city speeds during that period. First thing I did was put it
on a freeway for 800+ miles to get it home.............
