Conventional green mixed 50/50 is all I ever use on a Geo.

Been using Durex Universal, the yellow stuff, for quite some time now. Sleds too. 50/50 mix. I can top off any vehicle that comes into my garage. :thumb

I used Engine Ice right before I sold my Metro.

It allowed me to have a full front end block in the middle of summer without overheating... I would love to use it on my Insight but that car is a little to picky about temperatures.

Engine Ice linky

I use only the freshest antifreeze, fresh squeezed from the finest antifreeze gnomes.

Each gnome is tortured with only the newest popular music before it passes through a fine mesh screen and bottled. It is then flown straight to your door where it can be used for many years of satisfied motoring.

Haha

I use the green crap like the boss uses. I've never had overheating issues with it.

Honda love the blue stuff, but our metros need a drink of green to be happy.

All my cars get the cheapest green coolaid I can find. I buy the straight antifreeze and mix it myself. Several times il go 70% water. 50/50 protects you into some very cold weather

Yep, coolant: cheap, green... mixed with distilled water: cheap, odorless, colorless, tasteless.

However, If I feel daring I might go 51/49 or even 52/48 on the mixture. :whistle

90% distilled water, 1 bottle of water pump lube, 2 drops of dawn dishwashing liquid, a very small amount of whatever green antifreeze I have laying around. I don't worry much about what type/brand since it is not a huge percentage of my mixture.

Why the two drops of dawn? Just curious.
