OK, now that's weird. :shake

Run a compression check. Bet those are zero. :O Something hard ker-smacked themplugs. :banghead

Since it was running, the only thing, that I can think of, is you broke two valves simultaneously. :hmm

I'm afraid not magic juice is going to fix this one. :hiding

Time to tear it down and see what's up. :gamerz

Are you missing anything from your Throttle Body? Maybe check to see if anything could have fallen into the engine. Just a thought. :'( :'( :'(

It had to be two of something since it got two plugs. Time to pull the valve cover and see if all the valves are still in place.

Good bye

This carnage is a tell-tale sign of an internal puke. Sorry dude, start taking it apart, it will have to come out and start over with another one. Where are you, if you live in the rust belt someone will have an engine near you. If you are out west or down south there are JDM engines still available at times.

Are you guys sure it wasn't the timing belt that did it? Mine has a mind of it's own. :evillol

Well I got new plugs and bent the shit out of them again.... I did a compression test and Cyln 1- 150, #2 180 #3 Nothing. I am in the midwest so I may be able to find a new motor but idk I have to much money into it to put a motor in it. I think I might post it for sale if anyone is interested. The whole underneath has been undercoated so there isnt any fram rust. the doors have some but thats about it. OR Anyone need any parts lol

The shape of the combustion chamber and the way the spark plugs are positioned make it so that even if the piston somehow detached from the rod and flew up it would hit the head and never reach the spark plug.

Pics of plugs please?

i was thinking that but i wasn't sure.

So what are the correct plugs?

go into any autoparts store and just ask for the plugs for your year and model metro and they will give you the right ones. anyone that fits in there is the right one. as for preference everyone likes different plugs. i like the bosch 4+ for reliability since the spark can choose one of four routes to go , but spark plugs with a single electrode allow for better performance since they onle have one electrode reaching out and covering the spark, if you go that route i would suggest NGK iridiums.

you also may want to take off the head and peak in there and see whats causing the bending. it may not be that big of a deal and it would save you the bucks that a new motor would cost.

Where are you in the midwest, if you are close I may be able to help you out with this car. Or I might be interested in it if you don't want to fix it.

Look at the ceramic around the center electrode, on the un damaged one. I have had that come apart, big mess. dont know the cause, but the pistons and head were junk. Ceramic is far harder than the alum or the cast iron sleave.
.
back in the 80s I had real trouble with the bosch plat, where the center of the electrode would loosen and slide out until it shorted out on the ground side electrode. Bosch replaced them but the problem continued. Each time only one or two failed, they replaced all 8. good on the warranty, but.
.
long and short, probably plugs failed.
