I am the one on the left.

its 4:00 ish in the morning,
I am up because he is snoring. :banghead
there is a book I have been reading,
but so far, on the net I am being.
The floor is cold, my feet are numb,
staying up is really dumb.
what's this I hear?
No more chainsaws sounds greet my ears.
Its time to climb these twelve stairs
and get up off of this awful chair.
goodnight my friends
this is the end.
:whistle

Have him tested for sleep apnea.

he's congested this time of year, once he clears up the chainsaws disappear. He snored all night! Not very good sleep, but maybe breathrite will help tonite.

I moved to the spare room about midway through last night for the same reason.

Tune your sleep. Off the top of my head, some things you can mess with:

Comfort\etc:
1) Bed\Pillow hardness and position
2) Sleeping position
Things you can mess with as far as air quality goes:
3) Cleanliness
4) Humidity
5) Temperature

Steam Vaporizer with Vicks in it - clear up the congestion while sleeping.

Duct tape heals all wounds

The wife and I are both snorers, although I am by far worse than she is, to a degree seldom heard in the civilized world. Heck, we are lucky I haven't taken the siding half off the house.

Luckily for us, we are also both deep sleepers and the snoring bothers neither of us at all. She actually complains when I don't snore enough  so we never spend sleepless nights due to it.

My wife has taken to using the 'breathe right strips' Jm mentioned (for other reasons, not related to snoring), and while she continues to use them they have not (as far as I can tell) contributed to lessening her snoring any during those few times when I am lucid at night. Her sleeping position, on the other hand, does seem to have a lot more to do with it as was mentioned earlier. YMMV.

I agree with you but I do want to stress that even thin people can have sleep apnea even though it is more prevalant with overweight people. Not all people who snore have sleep apnea and a lot of people have sleep apnea and do not even know it and it is a great health risk in more ways than one.

Let's pretend sleep apnea is a poorly running g10.

Overweight people are burned valves, and thrown rods are thin people.

Deep, Coche. Very deep. The change of avatar has brought out the abstract thinker in you. :stoner

I tried that as well, but no matter how many times I moved my snoring just kept waking me up. Two or three :beer and my snoring does wake me up. :'(
