Has anyone seen one of these before? If I get time I need to go look at it, probably never see another one.

depending on how well it is done, that could make a really great delivery vehicle, or even better, camper.

I have never seen one like that myself. My guess is that if they didn't do some kind of upgrade on the suspension it's already pushing or over the weight capacity that the car can carry from the factory.....as mentioned above though if nothing else it'd be kind of a cool camper.

yeah except your getting 35mpg 40tops in that thing the aero is horrible!

come on you do that much work put some CURVES on the front of that thing.

not much you can do about the base drag but you can sure soften up the frontal area a bit.

and yes I would be interested in that if it was closer and if I had $1500 :-) I could have some FUN with that.

and so we don't lose it

If you keep it under 50 it won't get that bad mileage.

with the racks on my trailer I maxed at 35-40mpg and that was at 45mph (it was actually "difficult" to make the car go 50mph (in 5th gear oversized tires) and I was lighter than this thing is and slightly less draggy.

Somehow, I doubt that a flower shop is really going to care about curvy aero box designs. That delivery vehicle probably beat out the mpgs as is of 90% of the available on market vans they could have purchased.

From what I see of the inside, the box looks like a light steel / fiberglass composite setup, but it is hard to tell for sure. If that is the case, for it to sit as it is, the springs are probably at least getting a little help.

I purchased this vehicle on Saturday. It is a factory conversion done by Micro Van Conversions. The fit and finish is very good, especially for a twenty year old vehicle. It has a fiberglass shell with steel doors. I drove it home, 175 miles! This is my first Geo Metro, and the mor I drive it, the more I like it.

I got the vehicle for $1,200.00, but had a blow out about 10 miles from the car lot. I ended up spending $350.00 on tires to make the trip home. I didn't realize 12 inch tires were so expensive. The car was running rough, but didn't find out why till after I got home. There was a fuse in the the diagnostic slot on the fuse block. This caused the check engine light to flash. Pulled the fuse, check engine light went out.
