I have been looking around for one, but I have not yet installed one. I will remember this thread when I finally do. Got any test clips from that camera you care to upload? |

I pull the SD card out on the weekends and spot check it .. then I delete them all. I can post 16hrs worth this weekend. here is a a link to Amazon.com .. one of the people reviewing it posted a night video .. it looks just like that. I found his review to be spot on. Video |

A woman was randomly video'ing the road in upstate NY (I think) and saw nothing on her drive, but after reviewing the recording, she found she had captured footage of a sasquatch. |

I have a gopro that I've mounted to my roof rack, steering wheel, and I'm going to mount it on the dash soon. It shoots 1080 at 30fps and 720 at 30-60fps. Has a bunch of mounts to use and waterproof. I love this little camera. I'll work on getting some video up. |

I have the "real" version of that camera. based on the time stamp it looks to be a fake (interpolated ie resolution UPSIZED) but the SPECS appear real 120' 1280x720 h264 and hdmi so I am confused as to if it real or fake. the time stamp SHOULD be a "white box" in the top center NOT the green letters off to the side like in the sample video. Here is a sample from the "real" version (which I broke on the next flight after this flight guess it landed too hard) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsEZWynytQs spectacular video quality. real ones are typically around $130-$150 this one being $60 is suspicious but it has been a few years since I got mine :-) I run a 32gb card in mine. I keep a 8gb card as "backup" if something interesting happens I pull the primary card to preserve the video (it eats its own tail LOOPING through available space in 15minute chunks) and insert the 8gb to keep recording. I had a cheap dash cam that worked well for my needs. I wanted to free up my cig. lighter so I hardwired it in. I forgot to keep the circuit board from the plug-in and I gave it 12v instead of 5v, and consequently fried it... I'll be buying a new one shortly |
