If it fell on the opposite side of the flywheel, looking thru from the inspection plate side, there may not be enough clearance between the flywheel and bellhousing to pull them past the flywheel. Depends on where it fell. |

In the future, you may use a rather large and hardened screwdriver. I used one on mine where it wasn't small enough to fit into the bell houseing, but most of the tip fit in. That way if it broke off while I was undoing the torque converter bolts and crank sprocket bolt, I could still wriggle the tip out. At this point in time, I strongly suggest fishing through the starter hole with a magnet |

Hey! I've been there. What a pain in the rear....I ended up pulling the engine loose to get the part out. I didn't think it was worth the risk of leaving it in there. |
