oil gallery plug thread size and pitch and exhaust bolt question

Goofball question....but need to know!

Managed to plug all the holes in my new engine ('92 firefly donor) except one. It's above the oilpump on the exhaust side of the engine. I gently screwed an 1/8th inch NPT fitting and it went in easy, but sloppy...threads in the hole look good. Is it a metric tapered pipe thread that I'll never locate? ;-)

Also, my '97 has a funky 2-piece exhausted manifold. The flange to the cat pipe uses a couple bolts that look like they are 8mm x 1.0 pitch, but they have collars for the spring. They aren't in good shape but we got 'em out. Where the heck do ya get new ones and are they pricey? Parts houses have told me "good luck..."....but I figured I'd ask here before getting the welder out and "farmering somethin' up..."

Good bye

Oil galley plugs should be British Standard Pipe not NPT.

Part:

BOS 258942

Product Line:

Bosal
Napa can get the bolts, but they are not on the West coast, you might try Rock Auto parts.

I usually drill out the exhaust manifold and use ss bolts to replace the studs. easy to find anywhere, and easy to get out next time. 5/16x3 1/2, i think.
