2000 chevy metro 3 cyl. started stalling when decelerating after reaching approx. 60 mph a few months ago. over the months it would stall at lower speeds. It stalls when decelerating at 20 mph now. I've replaced the air filter and the upstream oxygen sensor. I used a digital OBD2 car reader. The codes that came up were PO420-Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1) and PO455-Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak) Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be causing the stalling? First, you need to fix those two problems, then look into your TPS and check compression. |
