Ok guys so last night I uninstalled my valve cover, took out spark plugs and wires and etc because i wanted to paint my valve cover, I reassembled it all that night and the next day when I tried to start it, it will barely start!! without gas it will stall within millaseconds and then if i give it gas at most it will go to 4k rpm, I labeled all the wires so i wouldn't mix them up, im not sure whats wrong timing or something, please help im new to fuel injection and having a car with a ECU!!

It sounds like a vaccum leak. Check all of you vaccum lines, I bet one or more is either not connected, or broken off from age. It only cost about $10 and about 30 min to change all of them. :thumb

I just took off one of my spark plugs and noticed it was very loose, the guy i bought the car off of, never did a tune up period... I think it is time for a tune up.

Take heed in stiffcheeze's post. This is a very cheap way to possibly fix a lot of problems.

Don't panic It's probably your PCV valve or you just did'nt connect the hose

It is not PCV Valve the engine needs a good tuneup.

Check your distributor cap for any cracks even small ones can cause big problems...trust me I know :banghead

Why did you not get the plugs back in tight?

Check to see for sure if your plug wires are on right......
standing at the drivers front fender looking at the
distributer==top left is #1.....bottom left is #3.......
right side is #2-----BTW #1 cylinder is the one closest to
the passenger fender.

You got it to idle :congrats

I had a heck of a time following the firing order diagram in the Chilton manual because it is wrong. :banghead

Might want to go with the 1995 Factory Service Manual. I see one on eBay at auction for $10 and $8 to ship. Since you have a Chilton you could do with the "Preliminary" 1995 FSM for less $$$. Search for 1995 Geo Metro Service Manual

I did well with the Chilton but the FSM is SOOOO much better. :D
