Hell yes, I'd buy them like fu<&ing candies, I'd own so many it would be ridiculous! I just love them! Not to say I wouldnt have other toys (because I do and would) like a DeLorean or a 1948 Tucker 48' "torpedo" but yeah...I'd still drive mine. I'd have it fully restored to showroom condition though |

Yes, First I would buy a junkyard, and, not quit my old job. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. I have the best health insurance ever, why throw that away for money. Hire the old owner on as manager, Give him instructions to buy all the Geos he can get hands on. Then go to town. I see; A push-me-pull-you Metro. A metro stretch limo, A 4X4 turbo Metro, A Westfalia camper Metro, oh the list goes on... |

I'm not at all rich (or don't consider myself rich) but I do have a bit of money socked away in investments and stuff. If my total net worth was a million I would still drive a Metro. If someone gave me an extra million in cash right now (where I no longer had to worry about the price of gas) I would probably drive a different car. The most fun I have ever had in a car has been my ~135 HP supercharged Miata. I could see myself building another one. It was more fun than a 230 HP turbo'd Miata and a 350 HP V8 Miata (and more fun than a 50 HP Metro). |

That the ticket right there. I don't care for Jay, and I felt like he was showy with his cars, but then I realised that he's living the dream. Who wouldn't have a harem of cars if they could? I could probably list of 20 different cars that I would like to have in one garage if I could. That's a game unto itself. :D |

I probably would not drive a metro anymore. I do enjoy it, and I am thrifty, but if I had sufficient funds, I would like something 15 years newer. I am approching the age where my body does not enjoy crawling around fixing the car anymore, and it seems like I am doing plenty of that lately! I am a big diesel fan, owned several of these, used to service diesel generators also when I was an Industrial Repair mechanic, so I would really love a Diesel Jetta i am thinking... |

yes i would, but i would do to the cars what i wanted, live off a little of for 6 months or so to try to get a good paying job with benefits and retirement so i could live with a family off it. then i would put 100k into an easy access high yield savings account as an emergency fund that i could skim off the interest to buy kids cars or whatever by the time they are of age to drive. then the rest of it would go into a retirement fund. Edit: but I admit i would buy a newish pickup truck prolly a 4x4 5.7L hemi dodge ram with under 100k on it but i would still have the metro and the Gti Edited by Potter, Feb 22 2012, 07:55 AM.

I would keep mine, BUT I'd get also a geo vert. I'd probably sleeper the vert out. It would look stock on the outside with NO indication of what was under the hood, except perhaps some sticky tires. Of course I'd have a 68 Chevelle, 78 Full Size Bronco, 28ish-32ish Ford Model A pickup, the world's fastest street legal Cummins,... oh and get my wife a new set of kitchen towels... j/k! |

I would own both Geos still, but I'd have a fleet of other cars as well. I'd have a lightweight hypermiler geo (the red one) and I'd probably do a turbo'd G13B on the blue one. Then I'd have an 2012 SRT-8 Charger for the family, ZR1 weekend car. F450 Dually for winter, and probably a Ferrari 458 Itallia for the exotic. |

I would put a g13b engine in with a huge turbo, custom everything, and would rally the $%*t out of it!
