Swaping heads. Old head has two sleves that bolts run through. New one does not. I belive they are for lineing up head. What is the best way to remove them? Thanks.

They are indeed alignment pins and your new head will need them for optimal performance. I've removed them by covering them with a rag, lightly latching onto them with vise grips and wiggling them out. If you do scar them up you can clean them up with emory cloth prior to installation. Good Luck!

I use a skinny pin punch and tap them out from the top. This way they don't get marred up and stay round.
