I just picked up a new Catalytic converter for a 96 Geo metro 3 cyl and it does not have a threaded flange on the pipe for the rear 02 sensor. Is this a bad part? Is the motor in the car newer than 1996 and 96 and older cars only have one 02? Did whales build Stone hedge? It's a Davico catalytic converter, I am assuming they know how to make exhausts. |

Maybe you got the wrong part. If there's a label on the pipe, enter the part number in Google to see what application the pipe fits. |

No it was ordered for a 96. I was going to call the company Monday and then just weld a lug on it if they can't help me. |

The pipe you received was probably for an 89-95 OBD I car. Just weld another bung and add sensor #2. |

Thanks that's plan B . The pipe has a 5 yr/50 warranty so I may try to have it replaced first. |
