I just got a 2012 Toyota Venza Limited AWD v6, I'm loving it, hating the 14mpg though, it's fully loaded with my favorite option that is definitely worth it, the high intensity discharge projector automatic high beams. I can't wait until we get some snow to test the AWD!!

Congrats! New cars are fun and they smell nice too!

I'm committed to driving crappy cars for the rest of my life, but my wife WILL be driving the safest most reliable thing we can afford because I refuse to put her in anything that will compromise her safety or peace of mind. Ergo, we bought a brand new one last year. I don't care for it but she loves it and I have to say new cars sure do ride nice compared to, well, a geo metro.

Try that picture thing again. I'd love to see it!

Oh I forgot to add... The 14 avg. mpg is me with a lead foot! I had to drive my parents' 2010 Camry Hybrid for a week while my Camry was getting fixed from deer damage, they got 34.7 mpg and after that week I was way down to 23.9! Lololol

I looked at the CX-5, 7 and 9! I didn't like the way the way they rode or drove. I just looked at the Venza for about an hour went home and told the girlfriend and we were up there an hour later signing papers! It's a great deal. My parents have a Venza also, it's a 4 cylinder AWD I liked theirs a lot so I looked at one too! The v6 is definitely a sleeper.

You must not like good handling cars. :/ And if you think the Venza is a sleeper...you must not have gotten into the boost on that CX7.

The important part is...you enjoy it! :thumb

I do like good handling cars, it was a great deal that was way too hard to pass up. I love my Toyota's! BTW I've already had it up to 105 merging onto the HWY.

I feel your mpg woes. I recently bought a 2010 Chevy Cobalt and it gets around 24 mpg (and it's a 4 cylinder!). That's new cars for ya, nice lookin car by the way!

On the window sticker it says it will 18city 25hwy, but it also says it will get anywhere from 15-19 city and 20-27hwy, IDK I guess we will see!

Might check out http://autos.yahoo.com/news/gas-powered-cars-that-get-40-mpg.html
Gas-powered cars that get 40 mpg
For non-electric, non-hybrid cars, 40 is the new 30 (mpg).

:banghead Have Fun Paying For It And Stopping At Every Gas Station And Paying That $4.00+ Per Gallon For Premium. And In The End BOWEL MOVEMENT OF AMERICA Comes And REPOSESSES IT! I Don't Envy You Not In The Slightest. (I've Been There And I Know What I'm Talking About!!)

Folks, This Is Why I Don't Miss My '04 TOYOTA CELICA GT-S!! What A Money Pit!! SHEESH! $600.00 Per Month, $350.00 Per Month Insurance Forced Full Coverage, PREMIUM GAS!!!!

And The Job Was LOST, And The Asshole Fired Me! (Trans-California Courier In Woodland Hills-His Name Was ROMEY J. MARTIN!) What A Bummer!!

And In The End---THEY CAME AND GOT IT!! End Of Story! R.I.P. 2004 TOYOTA CELICA GT-S!!

Same Thing Happened To My '89 SUZUKI SWIFT GT. When I Got It Brand New In 1990 Couldn't Afford The PREMIUM GAS, $217.08 And The Insurance. Then I Got FIRED And LOST THE JOB!! And In The End--FORD MOTOR CREDIT Came And REPOSSESED IT!!

Sorry, No New Cars EVER For Me Again. These JOBS Are NOT Eternal And Are NOT GUARANTEED!! When You Lose The Job And Are Stuck With Them PAYMENTS And The Money Runs Out....

There Is A Spanish Term For That: POBRECITO mi AMIGO!! (Means I Feel Sorry For You My Friend!!) LOL

Sorry, But It's GEO METRO 3 CYLINDER For Me 'Till My Dying Days.....
