Think this is a neat thing I'd share with you guys. A radiator cap with a thermostat built in. Seems useful to have. No idea if it actually will be though.

It's better to have one that you can view while in the car, but it's cool...no pun intended. lol

I like the idea of having a backup gauge. I'm paranoid about my temp gauge not working and not finding out until the motor is boiling.

Certainly seems like a good idea.

Huh. The eBay listing says that it's not compatible with a Metro? Aww.

Only issue might be hood clearance. :hmm Keep the receipt.

Grr

it says imports. I want to get 2 one for the geo and one for my ford van. but while the price is insane its a waste if it won't fit.

I thought all radiator caps were typically the same size? any reason to believe ours is a different size cap?

I dont think its the issue with our cap.....that aftermarket cap is probly taller. Maybe it hits something?....

I ordered one when I posted this, so I'll let you guys know if it fits. If it doesn't I have other vehicles to throw it on.

I saw the 89-94 bit on the auction, I didn't notice if it listed other years on it. So I'm fairly confident it'll fit mine. If not, I could always cut a hole out of the hood for it. Put some plastic trim around it so the thermometer pokes up nice and even through the hood.
